The Water Authority of Fiji has placed water tanks in central locations in the affected areas of Delainavesi and Lami.
In its statement, the Authority said that the tanks have been put in place so that people can easily access water.
These areas include Rogovoka Road, Bulou Road, Nakauvadra Road, Baka Drive and Kaunitoni Street in Delainavesi while Powell Crescent and Lami Village in Lami have been provided with water tanks.
The Water Authority of Fiji said that these tanks are replenished in the morning and evening daily and areas still not provided with water tanks are being serviced by water trucks.
The Authority is also calling on people to call them on 3346-777 if they are still not receiving water in their area.
