Water supply is expected to normalise this hour to those people staying in Tovata, high areas of Makoi, Caubati and Cunnigham along with Valelevu, Newtown, Naveiwakau and Tacirua East.
Department spokesperson, Maika Nagalu said that water level at the Wainibuku Reservoir has normalised after they shut down supply this morning.
Meanwhile, Nagalu adds that with regards to the water cuts in Meqaniya and Nasau in Nadi, their engineers are trying to locate and fix the problem.
This follows revelations that close to a thousand residents in Nasau in Nadi are now turning to the rivers and streams as a source of drinking water after sudden water cuts from late Saturday.
