Residents living in the Samabula area are now being asked to store water as there will be a huge operation underway that will see water supply cut during the evening.
The areas affected include Ratu Mara road from Samabula Post Office to Raiwasa, Raiwasa Road, Park Road, Bidesi Place, Shalima Street, Jittu Estate, Beddoes st, Karan Place, Marlow Road, Belo st, Kanavi st, Kaka st, Ruve st, Diilio St and Gaji Road.
Water Authority spokesperson Maika Nagalu said that the reason for the shutdown is that their engineers from the leak detection unit will be carrying out their work.
He added that residents should start storing water now to avoid any inconvenience tonight.
Water supply will be affected between 10pm tonight to 4am tomorrow morning.
