Restoration works are currently ongoing and water supply is being progressively restored to affected residents living along the Khalsa Rd junction to Colo-i-Suva.
This was after residents living in those areas raised their concerns with fijivillage News.
The Water Authority of Fiji confirms a recent disruption in their water supply was experienced by residents in its Upper Tovata System, and says they are taking action to address the situation.
WAF acknowledges receiving complaints from residents and wishes to advise that disruption notices were communicated to customers in the affected areas through the WAF mobile app and text blasts.
The Authority says they sincerely apologize that the notification did not reach all customers who were affected and recognize the importance of keeping their customers informed during instances of service interruptions.
They are requesting residents to reach out to their customer care lines on 5777, 1507, and 1508 for updates and assistance during this time.
WAF says real-time updates and notifications are available on their mobile apps on any disruptions that may affect water supply.
They say the app provides a convenient platform for customers to stay informed and receive timely updates on developments or changes in water supply.
WAF says they remain committed to providing reliable and high-quality water services to all Fijians.
