Water rationing to start from tonight
Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said they will have to ration supply to Wainibokasi tonight, as water rationing will begin from 8pm to 4am tomorrow morning.
The villages which will face water disruptions include, Nauluvatu, Namuka, Buretu, Daku, Vadrai, Nasali and Tokatoka. Residents have been asked to store enough water.
Meanwhile four water trucks are carting water in Suva and Lami areas.
Nagalu said they are also distributing water to Hotels and Motels in Suva who are facing water cuts.
Navua and Deuba residents are slowly receiving water supply as it may take a few days to normalise.
For the Western Division, 30% of residents in Sigatoka do not have water. According to Nagalu in Nadi, Rakiraki and Tavua many places have water supply.
For Lautoka, the Buabua treatment plant and the Saru water supply has normalised however there are still some places without water.
In Ba only the Tauvegavega treatment plant is still down and some places still do not have water supply.
