Water rationing in Nadi and Lautoka will only happen during non-peak hours.
That is the reassurance by the Water Supply Department as major repair works get underway from their Vaturu main supply station to Nagadro station.
Spokesperson Iliesa Sokia said that this rationing will see residents in certain areas without water supply from 9am to 3pm every day until repair works are completed.
Areas affected once again are in Nadi: the Nadi back road, Mulomulo, Togamasi, Maqania, Taci and Solovi.
In Lautoka: Kashmir, Waiyavi, Banaras, Vomo Street and Tavakubu Road, Field 40 and Rifle Range, Simla and Saru back road.
