The Water Supply Department has revealed that following major upgrade works at Queen Elizabeth Drive and other areas around Suva, the water pressure will normalize in many areas around the Capital City.
Residents of Toorak, Delainavesi, Lami and Veisari have been without normal water supply for some weeks now.
Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said they know about the problem in Delainavesi and Toorak however they are still trying to find the fault in Lami and Veisari.
A resident from Toorak, G. Lal, has raised concern that they face water problems every morning for some years now.
Meanwhile, Nagalu said the Toorak residents use water at the same time in the morning which affects the pressure.
Veisari resident Sharon McGowan raised concern this morning that if the problem continues there is a threat of the spread of water borne diseases.
