Members of the public have to change their water meters which are 15 years old to avoid incorrect readings.

That is the stand by the Water Authority of Fiji after a concern was raised by a member of the public on estimated readings which result in higher bills during a talanoa session held by Water Authority and the National Fire Authority at the Saint Mathews Anglican Church in Nabua this morning.

Water Authority's spokesperson Maika Nagalu said estimated readings are taken for the last six months.
