In the Central Division, water levels continue to rise in the Navua River. Navua Fire Authority Officer In charge Buksh said Naitonitoni, Tokotoko back road and road along the hospital leading to main roads are under 3 feet water.
In the Rewa Delta, a number of villages close to the mouth of the Rewa River have been evacuated.
Provincial Officer Rewa Luke Maraivalu said they have received confirmation that at least four villages have been affected by rising water levels in the Rewa River. DISMAC is yet to get confirmation on the number of people who are now occupying the evacuation centers in Rewa.
