Those without water since Tropical Cyclone Mick on Monday can expect the situation to normalise soon.
Works Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said their people are working on restoring water in a number of areas.
Waqainabete said most of the areas in the Central Division are expected to receive water today.
On power supply, there is still no time frame given as to when power will be restored.
When Fijivillage News contacted the Fiji Electricity Authority Customer Care services this morning and were informed that their engineers are working on a grid by grid basis to restore power.
The Lack of power is due to extensive damage to power poles, base stations around Viti Levu as well as to power lines from Cyclone Mick earlier this week.
Meanwhile, a Non Government Organisation in the Western Division is looking at ways to help the people affected by Tropical Cyclone Mick.
After cleaning its own compound by removing debris and big trees, FRIENDS is now focusing on the needy.
Director Sashi Kiran said that they have seen many houses which have been badly damaged.
