People living in some elevated areas in Suva are being asked to fill whatever water they can now, as repair works are currently underway to fix a burst valve along Rewa Street and Laucala Bay Road.
Speaking to Village News, Divisional Water Engineer Central/Easten, Samuela Tubui said some places in Suva may face water disruptions and adds that it is best if people prepare for this now.
Tubui also advises drivers to try and avoid the roundabout at the end of Rewa Street and Laucala Bay Road as this is where the main repair works are being carried out.
