Residents in the Suva-Nausori corridor may face frequent water disruptions as Water Authority carries out upgrading works at Water treatment plants.

Spokesperson, Maika Nagalu said their upgrading programme at Waila treatment plant and Tamavua is expected to be completed by next year.

Nagalu said yesterday, many areas between Suva and Nausori faced water cuts as water engineers were working on the Treatment plants. Water supply was normalised last night.

He adds residents will be advised accordingly on the planned water shutdown.

Calls have been made to always store enough water for drinking and other household chores.
