Thousands of residents in the greater Suva area are waking up to dry taps this morning as the Savura water pumps broke down last night.
The Water Authority of Fiji spokesman Maika Nagalu advised residents to use water sparingly as supply has been disrupted to Samabula, Wailoku, Lami, Delainavesi, Veisari up to Togalevu.
Nagalu said the engineers are now working on the problem and water supply should normalise later in the day.
