Thousands of people in Suva, Lami and Nausori are still without water this morning.
Village news spoke to a number of people who say that they have been without water supply for the last few days.
A resident of Delainavesi, Mrs Inia Jikoi-toga told Village News this morning that she had to wake up her children at 3 o'clock this morning so that they can have a shower and prepare for school.
A resident of Waila Nausori, Santa Prasad said they have been without water since Friday night and they have to travel a long distance to look for water to meet their daily needs.
The Water Supply Department confirmed these areas are affected due to low water levels at the Tamavua and Wainubuka reservoirs. Engineers are trying to pump water from Waila into these catchments and supply will be restored once water levels at the two reservoirs reach sufficient levels.
