Throwing water on passing vehicles on New Year’s day or after is an offence and anyone caught doing so will not be spared.
This warning comes from the Director of Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra as the people are gearing up to welcome 2010.

He said children should not be allowed to celebrate New Year on roadsides which can lead to accidents.
