Water Supply is expected to normalise by this afternoon along the Nausori Suva corridor.

Divisional Water Engineer Central Eastern Samuela Tubui said that it will take a while for water supply to normalise but some areas have started receiving water.

Residents living along Nausori-Suva corridor faced water problems due to power disruptions to Waila Treatment Plant earlier today.

Meanwhile, engineers from Suva are expected to leave for Ba to carry out maintenance work on the pumps which have caused water disruptions in Ba for the past two weeks.

Ba Water Supply Supervisor, Kamanieli Vunimasi said that four pumps had broken down, causing water problems.

Vunimasi also added that he cannot confirm when water supply will normalise, yet he said that trucks would be carting water to the affected areas.
