Proper water supply is expected to normalise tomorrow for residents in Nadi, Lautoka, Ba and in Sigatoka as flood waters have seen major damage to water supply lines.

Ministry of Spokeswoman Sainiana Waqanibete said most areas still remain without water-supply and their workers are still trying to identify and fix major infrastructure damage that would result in steady water supply.

According to Waqanibete, major pipelines have been washed away and water is expected back in some of these areas by tomorrow.

However, she adds that for Ba, water restoration would take longer as the Moto Bridge was washed away.
