Residents living in the greater Delainavesi and Lami area should get normal water supply back early this afternoon.
Works Department Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said they have been having problems with their water pumps last night and they have engineers who are working around the clock to try and restore water supply.
However some residents say that they have been experiencing water cuts since yesterday morning and not only from last night. They say they have witnessed engineers working on a burst pipe in Nukuwatu since yesterday morning.
Waqainabete said they understand the frustration that people are going through saying their men are working hard to restore water supply and assures people that water will be restored by this afternoon.
