Repairs on the various reservoirs will take place within the next two months to address the water problem.
This has been confirmed by the Principal Information Officer for the Ministry of Public Works and Utilities, Sainiana Waqainabete, who said the Interim Minister along with other Officials are currently on a tour of all the reservoirs in the Central Division to see what can be done to reduce the problem.
Waqainabete said a number of remedial contingency plans have been put in place to address the problems especially since most of the problems arising are due to the age of the facilities at the different reservoirs.
The Interim Minister of Public Works and Utilities, Timoci Natuva along with other Officials are currently touring all the different reservoirs in the Central Division.
