The Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians squads will be out to impress national selectors in Friday's Pacific Rugby Cup match.

Fiji Warriors team manager, Isei Rayawa said that the boys not only have an eye for the competition, but most are looking beyond this, to the Rugby World Cup that will be held in New Zealand next year.

Rayawa added that his boys also have the biggest challenge on them, and that is to defend the PRC title, if they are successful than they enter the "good-books" of the selectors.

The first round of matches in the Pacific Rugby Cup competition kicks off this week, which will see the best two teams in Fiji, the Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians, Tautahi Gold and Tau'uta Reds from Tonga and Savai'i and Upolu Samoa from Samoa battle it out.

The Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians match kicks off at 5pm on Thursday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM..
