The Fiji Warriors team will treat their opening match against the Fiji Barbarians in the first round of games of the Pacific Rugby Cup this week, as the final.

The Warriors who are defending champions know that the pressure is on them to deliver so they can defend their title, and team manager, Isei Rayawa said it will be a tough encounter between the two teams as all these players play together and understand each other's style of play.

The first round of matches in the Pacific Rugby Cup competition kicks off this week, which will see the Fiji Warriors take on the Fiji Barbarians, Tautahi Gold meet Tau'uta Reds from Tonga and Savai'i and Upolu Samoa from Samoa battle it out.
