Defending Pacific Rugby Cup champion Air Pacific Fiji Warriors is eyeing to become the first team to win the title two years in a row.

The Warriors lie on second spot in the points standing after beating Tautahi Gold 21-13 yesterday and now have 14 points.

They are just one point away from the Body Guard Fiji Barbarians who recorded a 36-25 victory against Upolu Samoa yesterday.

Since the inception of the PRC, all of the defending champions have failed to record back to back wins, a trend which the Fiji Warriors are out to break this year.

Warriors manager Ratu Isei Rayawa said his players understand the task ahead of them in the last round of competition where they face a must win situation to reach the final.
