Defending Pacific Rugby champions, the Air Pacific Fiji Warriors admit that the toughest game of the tournament this year, will be Saturday’s finals against one of their own, the Bodyguard Fiji Barbarians.

Rugby pundits are asking whether Warriors coaches Inoke Male, someone who has coached Tailevu to win the coveted Farebrother Sullivan Trophy and Sale Sorovaki, former National 1s captain, will find the right game plan to defend the PRC title.

On the other hand, Barbarians coach Peniasi Uluiviti has led his brigade to beat the Warriors at Lawaqa Park in the first round of competition.

Whether there will be a repeat of the Barbarians win is something that the Warriors will try to stop!

Warriors will be out to avenge their first round 23 20 loss to the Babaas and confidence is not short in camp as international based players have streamed in with their blessings for the team.

Warriors team manager Isei Rayawa added they have nothing but respect for their opposition but this was not going to shadow their determination to bag the win.

The Pacific Rugby Cup finals between the Air Pacific Fiji Warriors and Bodyguard Fiji Barbarians kicks off at 3pm on Saturday and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station Viti FM.
