The Air Pacific Fiji Warriors side lost their game to Savai'i Samoa this afternoon by a close margin of 18 points to 20.

The Fiji Warriors were leading 15-9 at halftime.

When contacted by Fijivillage, Fiji Warriors team manager Pita Bolea said that the boys could have been affected by the scorching heat but will not take that as an excuse.

Bolea added that the boys started well in the first half but did not focus for the whole duration of the game.

The Air Pacific Fiji Warriors also had its two main players namely Aca Ratuva and Sakiusa Matadigo down injured.
