Wardens are the top favorites for the opening leg of the Digicel Suva Sevens series this weekend at the TFL Stadium.

Under the leadership of former Fiji Sevens coach Josateki Savou, they will also have the services of majority of the national sevens reps preparing for the opening leg of the IRB Sevens Series.

The likes of Jerry Burotu, Pio Tuwai, Lepani Nabuliwaqa and Setefano Cakau will be in the green and gold colors for the Suva Sevens.

Suva Rugby Union chairman Vilikesa Rauca said with the Fiji Sevens team not taking part, the players will play for their respective teams this weekend.

This afternoon, the 64 teams will be divided into their 16 pools and the Suva Sevens will start on Friday at the TFL Stadium.
