Uluinakau 7s defending champions Wardens Gold continued their fine performance after beating Nasolo Young Boys 10-7 to qualify for the Cup quarterfinals.
Laced with the services of seasonal key players Risiate Tadulala, Seniyasi Matailewena and Epeli Naituivau Wardens dominated the set pieces to claim victory.
Wardens Gold will take on Wardens Green in the first Cup quarterfinal which kicks off in the next hour.
In other Cup elimination results Wardens Green defeated Wainuqa Red 26-5, Red Rock defeated Marist 38-5, Lomaiviti beat Wardens West 14-12, Coral Coast 7s champion Yamacia defeated Waimanu 14-7 while Army escaped to a 10-5 victory over Natakala Green.
