A new champion is expected at this year’s Uluinakau 7s after defending champions Wardens Gold was bundled out of the semifinals.
Vodafone Fiji 7s playmaker Emosi Mulevoro and Isake Katonibau made huge difference in the Army side as they beat Wardens Gold 22-0.
Army will now face the host Uluinakau Green in the Cup Final after surviving a tough battle against Red Rock Premium with 10-5.
Meanwhile in other finals, Uluinakau Blues will take on 480 Holdings Bale in the Shield, Lomaiviti Babas face First Landing in the Bowl while Tabadamu will take on Wardens Green in the Plate final.
The winner of the Cup final will walk away with $5000 while runner up gets $2000.
