The Waratahs rugby players will be wearing black arm-bands when they take on Fiji Warriors in their trial match for the Super 14 competition.

Waratahs Coach Chris Hickey said this will be a mark of respect to their former NSW Academy player Dan Robinson, who passed away on Sunday.

Robinson's elder brother Beau is a member of the Waratahs team.

Dan Robinson, 21, a member of the Gordon rugby club and an aspiring Super player was electrocuted while crossing a railway line in London, where he was to meet his brother, who is playing in Italy.

The Waratahs/Fiji Warriors match will be played on saturday at the Orange at 9:40pm.
