Waratahs co-captain, Dave Dennis says the Waratahs’ leadership group has dropped the ball on establishing the team’s identity this year.

He says under previous coach Michael Cheika, they played with a clear purpose and direction which got them the 2014 Super Rugby title.

Dennis says new coach Daryl Gibson has been frustrated by their inability to impose their gameplan on opponents.

The Waratahs have lost three of their five games this season.

Dennis says they can still jump back despite sitting 12th overall on the Super Rugby table with 10 games remaining.

The Brumbies will face the Waratahs at 9.40pm Saturday.
