The Waratahs kept their chances of reaching the play-offs alive after beating rivals the Brumbies 28-22 last night.

Replacement Berrick Barnes and man-of-the-match helped the Waratahs go from being 6-13 down at half time to winning the match.

Meanwhile in other matches, the Crusaders made a statement of intent when they outclassed the Blues 23-3 which moves them above the Blues in Super Rugby's top six, the Bulls extended their winning streak to five matches when they beat the Highlanders 35-18 while the Cheetahs ended a three match losing streak to the Reds when they beat the Queenslanders 27-13 this morning.
