The Waratahs are hopeful that Phil Waugh, Tom Carter and Wycliff Palu will return to the team for the Super Rugby game against the Reds.
Waratahs will be keen to welcome back the trio as they will be up against a Queensland side that are looking for a record seventh straight win.
Captain Waugh has been on the sidelines since the start of April after picking up a calf injury during the victory over the Chiefs while centre Cooper and number eight Palu missed the game against the Blues with hamstring injuries.
The Waratahs and Reds match kicks off 9.40pm on Saturday while Crusaders will play Highlanders at 7.35pm.
Meanwhile, at 7.35pm this Friday, Blues will take on Rebels.
