The Waratahs earned their first home victory of the 2015 Super Rugby season when they beat the Brumbies 28‑13 in Sydney last night.

They hit back after a slow start to the season with a fierce win over the Australian conference leaders, outscoring their rivals three tries to one.

Waratahs fullback Israel Folau was outstanding in attack, scoring one try and having a hand in the other two scored by Bernard Foley and hooker Silatolu Latu.

Looking at the other Super Rugby results, the Hurricanes beat the Highlanders 20-13, the Rebels beat the Lions 20-16, the Bulls edged Western Force 25-24, the Sharks upset the Chiefs 12-11 while the Crusaders thumped the Cheetahs 57-14.

In the Super Rugby this week, the Hurricanes take on the Rebels at 6.35pm Friday while the Reds meet the Lions at 9pm.

On Saturday, the Chiefs face the Cheetahs at 3.30pm, the Highlanders clash with the Stormers at 6.35pm while the Waratahs take on the Blues at 8.40pm.

On Sunday, the Sharks face Western Force at 3.05am while the Bulls meet the Crusaders at 5.10am.
