Social Democratic Liberal Party Youth Interim President and Youth Activist Pita Waqavonovono said that a lot of young people value the old politicians and also stresses that he disputes what the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has been saying that old politicians are just trying to re-empower the elites.
Waqavonovono was elected as SODELPA’s Youth Interim President yesterday during their Youth Forum.
He said that if youths want a better future for this nation, they need to work towards democracy.
SODELPA General Secretary Pio Tabaiwalu said that they are targeting youths and are looking for young bright minds to be part of SODELPA in the upcoming elections.
At least 30 people attended the SODELPA Youth Conference.
