Vodafone Fiji 7s player, Apisalome Waqatabu was the hero for the Police 7s team after scoring a try in the sudden death to help his side beat Yamacia 17-12 in the cup semifinals of the Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7's earlier today.
Waqatabu also featured for the Serevi Select side in the tournament and was later drafted into the Police side as an injury cover.
With defending champion, Yamacia bundled out of the tournament, a new winner will be crowned when Police takes on Davetalevu in the final this afternoon.
Davetalevu stormed into the cup final after beating Wardens Green 15-7 in the second semifinal.
