New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens said their chances of defending the Wellington Sevens title has been boosted with the inclusion of former Highlanders Super 14 winger Viliame Waqaseduadua.

Tietjens has named Waqaseduadua in his 24 member team which will be trimmed to 12 players next Thursday.

He has also included former RKS U19 rep and Waikato NPC winger Save Tokula in the side, as he searches for speed out wide on the wing.

The other Fijian boys in the team are Lote Raikabula, Tomasi Cama Jr and Malakai Ravulo from North Harbour.

Tietjens has included the likes of experienced sevens players DJ Forbes, Edwin Cocker, Zar Lawrence and Nafi Tuitavake in his squad.

The Wellington Sevens is from the 6th and 7th of next month.
