The inter-boys 100 metres and 200 metres events will be the ones to look out for in this year’s Coca-Cola Games as two best friends Aaron Powell of Gospel High School and former Suva Grammar School sprinter Jacob Waqanivalu will face off this year.
Waqanivalu who has joined International School Suva said he has been competing with Powell since they were nine years old.
Waqanivalu has just recovered from a hamstring injury but he believes representing International School Suva is an honor for him.
Waqanivalu won the 100, 200 and 4x100 metres events at their interhouse meet today and is looking forward to train with his team.
