Fiji Pearls skipper Matila Waqanidrola resumed training today after being injured yesterday.

Pearls Coach Unaisi Rokoura said 31 year old Waqanidrola had some runs today.

Rokoura added that she will name her starting lineup to face the Malawi Queens tomorrow morning.

If Waqanidrola is fully recovered before tomorrow’s first test then she is expected to be in the run on side along with veteran goal shooter Taraima Rara-Mitchell, Vaiti Waqatabu and Alesi Waqa.

But if Waqanidrola does not recover in time then Under 21 skipper and former Saint Thomas High School student Raijeli Daveua is expected to start at goal keeper.

The Pearls will play the Queens tomorrow at the Vodafone Arena at 3pm.

Their second test will be held at 3pm Monday.
