It’s highly likely that experienced players will make up the starting line-up for Digicel Fiji 7s team in the opening pool game of the Australia 7s tomorrow.

After their second day of preparation in Gold Coast yesterday, it looks evident that assistant coach, Eddy Waqa is sticking to a safety first approach where he will start with known players in his run on team.

In training the likes of Setefano Cakau, Senivalati Vunibola and Jimilai Nakaidawa are running in the forwards.

Emosi Vucago, Miti Nacagilevu, Osea Kolinisau and Joeli Lutumailagi are leading the back-line which has been Waqa’s preferred line-up in the past few days.

The Fiji 7s team first match will be against Niue at 5.25pm tomorrow.

Fiji will play Kenya at 8.31pm and the final pool match will be against New Zealand at 12.14am on Saturday.
