The Wallabies will persevere with Digby Ioane as their frontline defender and hide Quade Cooper near the wing during Saturday’s Bledisloe Cup test.

The Wallabies revealed against the Springboks in Sydney when they opted against having five eighth Cooper or fullback Kurtley Beale defending up front.

At the Wallabies training session on the Gold Coast yesterday, they went with a similar formation, with Ioane moving in and Cooper heading to the wings.

Meanwhile, Cooper said this match against the All Blacks is far more important for them as it will lay the platform for the Rugby World cup.
