Rob Simmons is one of a handful of current Wallabies who remember what it feels like to beat the All Blacks.

The Queensland second rower came off the bench in 2011 when the Robbie Deans coached Wallabies, high on confidence, pulled off a rare 25-20 victory at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

James Horwill was there too in his first Test as captain, alongside halves partners Quade Cooper and Will Genia.

Simmons said he feels filthy and hates losing.

He said it takes a couple of days to get over.

He said it is something he wants to change and that’s for sure that he is sick of losing and as a team, they are striving to be where New Zealand are.

With the Bledisloe Cup beyond their reach for an 11th straight year, the Wallabies go to Dunedin with nothing to lose.

Simmons dismissed talk of a dead rubber match and instead talked about pride.

The All Blacks will play the Wallabies this Saturday at 6.35pm.
