Waratahs fullback Israel Folau said the Wallabies have the talent and hunger to finally reclaim the Bledisloe Cup this year, ending the years of pain and suffering for Australian rugby fans.

Folau admitted he couldn't even remember what he was doing the last time Australia won the Bledisloe Cup in 2002.

The Wallabies launch their Rugby Championship bid with the first of three Bledisloe Cup Tests against New Zealand in Sydney on August 16.

Meanwhile, the Waratahs is on a bye this weekend.

Tomorrow the Chiefs play the Blues at 7.35pm while the Rebels meet the Hurricanes at 9.40pm.
