Wallabies great George Smith has boldly predicted that Australia, the Rugby Championship winners, and Fiji, the Pacific Nations Cup champions, will be the sides to make the playoffs.
Smith the flanker with 111 tests to his name, has predicted that heavyweights Wales and England won't qualify from the "pool of death".
The two northern stalwarts are grouped with Australia, Fiji and Uruguay with just two teams advancing to the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Flying Fijians will play Canada in a warm up match on the 6th of next month before taking on England at 7am on the 19th of next month in the opening Rugby World Cup.
