National netball coach Melissa Walker is hoping for a good finish from the national under21 side at the World Youth Netball Championship.
The Fiji side is ranked 13th in next month's tournament while New Zealand, England, Australia and Jamaica have received the top four seeding.
Walker said their preparation has so far gone according to plan and their aim is to finish in the top eight.
Fiji is in pool C with Australia, Botswana, Samoa and South Africa.
Their opening match will be against Samoa on 11th August in the Cook Islands.
