FASANOC President Vidya Lakhan has dismissed certain media reports that they had a meeting with Netball Fiji Executives today to discuss Melissa Walker's fate of taking the team to the Mini Games in the Cook Islands.

When contacted by Fijivillage sports, Lakhan clarified that the meeting took place but nothing of the sort was discussed, and adds that if Walker was disallowed to go, it should come from Netball Fiji not from FASANOC.

FASANOC had also confirmed last week that according to the team lists submitted earlier, Melissa Walker is coach and Unaisi Rokoura is her Assistant.

Efforts to get Netball Fiji President Milika Munivai and her assistant Wati Seeto this afternoon proved futile.

Meanwhile, Fijivillage sports questioned Walker on whether she was still taking the team to the Cook Islands.

Walker has just returned last night after travelling to New Zealand last week to renew her passport.

The Mini Games kicks off on September 24 in the Cook Islands.
