FASANOC has today confirmed that national netball coach Melissa Walker will take the team to the Mini Games in the Cook Islands at the end of the month.

Differences arose between Walker, the under-21 team officials and Netball Fiji president Milika Munivai and her assistant Wati Seeto at the Under-21 World Netball Championship, and it was unclear whether Walker would still take the team to the Mini Games.

Meanwhile, FASANOC officials have confirmed they will go with the team lists that have been given and approved by the games officials, which states that Melissa Walker is coach and Unaisi Rokoura is her assistant.

However, Walker has the tough task ahead of her, to try and defend the Gold that Fiji won at the Pacific Games in Samoa.

The Mini Games kicks off in the Cook Islands on September 24.
