Outgoing National Netball Coach Melissa Walker is in the dark over Netball Fiji's negotiations with the Australian Institute of Sports, to send her replacement.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Walker said she has no light on the issue, and if this was being done, then Netball Fiji is going against the contract she signed, which states that it will end in 2011.
Walker stated to Radio Australia that she cannot work out where she went wrong.
Netball Fiji President Milika Munivai said this was done as Netball Fiji could not afford to be paying around $70,000 per annum for Walker's salary.
In this case, the new coach will come in for a maximum of three months and return, and all costs will be covered by Australian Institute of Sports while Netball Fiji will only have to pay for her air fare.
The arrangement is part of the agreement with the AIS and this will allow for local Coach, Unaisi Rokoura to go for coaching clinics to Australia.
Meanwhile, Walker will today appear before FASANOC to hear her appeal case against Netball Fiji, for disallowing her to travel with the National Netball team to the Cook Islands for the Pacific Mini Games.
