Former Fiji Netball coach, Melissa Walker has withdrawn her court action against Netball Fiji, following an out of court settlement between both parties.

Netball Fiji will pay her claims against the association for unpaid salaries and legal fees however both parties have decided not to disclose the final settlement amount.

President, Wainikiti Bogidrau has today apologized to Melissa and her family for the pain and hardship they had to endure during her contract and the circumstances surrounding their final departure from Fiji.

In accepting, Walker said she is happy the matter has been finally brought to a closure and wishes the new regime, the best, in trying to move Netball forward.

Bogidrau acknowledged that NF needs to put its house in order, and that has included accepting responsibilities to those that they owe money to.

Walker is currently serving a contract in Wales.
