New Zealand based netball coach, Melissa Walker will return to Fiji on October 6th to formalize her contract and also sign up as Netball Fiji coach.

President Milika Munivai has confirmed that they had spoken to Walker this week, after she left the country on Sunday to consult with her mother regarding a few issues in the contract.

At the moment, Walker is arranging with other overseas coaches on the possibility of the national team travelling abroad and playing a few games before the end of the year.

However, Munivai is tightlipped about the commercial company that has assisted Netball Fiji financially to cover the $80,000 costs for the coach's salary.
