Walk on Walk Strong
That is part of the song "Walk on Walk Strong" by 15 year old Tae Kami of Tonga who died of a rare cancer.
This morning, families from all walks of life turned up in force to take part in a Walk on Walk Strong fund raising at Albert Park in support of 15 years old Tae Kami's dreams of setting up a resource center for children with cancer.
Tae's mother Sinu Kami said this is to commemorate the death of 15 year old Tae Kami whose ordeal was followed by people in many countries who read her moving account of her fight with the disease on her personal website, and her song "Walk On, Walk Strong" has become an anthem for supporters of the Tae Kami Foundations in Fiji and Tonga.
Tae Kami who died in 2008 bravely battled a rare cancer in the jaw for three years and while she was sick, she found ways to make others happy and be strong.
Kami said children need to see us and they need our support.
This is the second year that the fundraising has been held in Suva.
