Wales will be using this weekend’s Test against the Flying Fijians to end their losing streak at home.

Wales coach Warren Gatland was left deflated after his side was edged 29 25 by world champions South Africa at the Millennium Stadium yesterday morning.

Gatland’s side also went down to the Wallabies 25-16 the previous week and with the Test against the Flying Fijians coming up this weekend, he will use it as a chance for his players to end their losing streak at home.

Not only will that be on his mind as the Wales team still recalls their 2007 Rugby World Cup loss to Fiji which cost them a spot in the quarterfinals and with both sides in the same pool again for next year’s World Cup, this Test match will be a chance to lay the platform for next year.

Gatland’s message was clear after the loss saying that though he was proud of the team’s performance, he does not want a repeat loss against Fiji.

The Flying Fijians and Wales Test match is on Saturday at 8.30am.
